Jackie (2016)

Nick - I was super excited to see this and when that usually happens it’s followed with disappointment. The entire cast did such an amazing job portraying these people but in the end I still don't really know who Jackie Kennedy was. The flashbacks before her husbands death still left me puzzled as to how she felt and what she really wanted. Other than the performances being amazing, the story left me wanting more story. 6/10

Allyson -  went into this movie knowing probably two things about Jackie Kennedy. She was the FLOTUS to JFK, and she's a kind of fashion icon. I left this movie knowing a few more things about her. Natalie Portman is amazing as always. Her portrayal of Jackie during this traumatizing event was beautiful. The costume design was perfection. I loved the occasional old film shots that were included. There wasn't a plot, you know what happens. It was just the most intimate and stark look you could get at one of the most well known political tragedies in American history. 7.8/10
